The Sound
Motor Raiders sound has been compared to a mixture of modern bands such as Electric 6 and The Whitestripes, whilst done slightly shitter, with more autism sprinkled over the top, like watching the Who after you have had a serious head injury. We would also like to say we were like other older bands such as Thin Lizzy, with larger man tits, Judas Priest, with extra Judas and Motorhead (which we basically stole the name of) but all those bands have something we dont have, talent, fans and STDS.
Influences
The Band takes influences from a large breadth of British bands including Iron Maiden, The Who, The Rolling Stones and The Small Faces. Edd also takes influences from sailors on a Friday night down the local, he can often be heard with a mouth full of inspiration screaming “oh Yes” at the top of his lungs. They also like The Kinks, Queen, Black Sabbath, T.Rex, Muse and Judas Priest, but then again who doesn’t, saying the band likes Queen is like saying you like chips, not really that original is it, no wonder they cant get bookings. Well if you are still here give us a listen, crack open a brew, get out your penis and or fanny and strum yourself silly to our music.
